2 Apr 14 – Grand Forks, North Dakota, set a new record low on Wednesday morning following the blizzard that dropped nearly a foot (30 cm) of snow in some places.
The temperature dropped to a record low 6 below zero (-21C) in Grand Forks around 5:30 Wednesday morning.
That beat the previous record for April 2 of 2 below, which was set in 1954 and matched in 1979, according to a report from the National Weather Service in Grand Forks.
Another storm system is on the way.
