7 Apr 2014 – Winter storm warning in effect for Blanc-Sablon, Chevery and Natashquan regions
Heavy snow will begin Tuesday evening and overnight over these regions. Winds will also cause blowing snow.
Snowfall warning in effect for Charlevoix, Minganie and Sept-Îles – Port-Cartier regions
Rainfall amounts of 15 cm (5.9″) are expected over higher elevations of Charlevoix Tuesday morning. Similar amounts are expected over Sept-Îles and Minganie beginning in the afternoon.
While temperatures are not very cold in Eastern Quebec, they will remain near the freezing mark, allowing for significant amounts of snow over the north shore. The snow could be wet or mixed with rain over some areas.

“The statement for the snowfall warnings says “rainfall” but I believe that was put there by mistake as there are also rainfall warnings for other parts of the province,” says Terry.
