Lake Louise Si Resort breaks yearly snowfall record

A whopping 73 cm (29 inches) of snow has fallen in the last five days at the Lake Louise Ski Resort, according to Dan Markham, the company’s director of brand and communications.

That brings the total to 760 cm (almost 25 ft) for the season, topping the record set in 2011/’12 of 755 cm.

And there’s still more snow on the way, meaning that the season isn’t over yet.

Lake Louise Ski Resort is located in Banff National Park near the village of Lake Louise, Alberta.
