“If things keep going the way they say they are, the British will be growing palm trees instead of Ash and Central Africa and the Amazon basin will be blistering hot deserts, but we will be able to farm Northern Canada,” says reader Tom O. (This was in response to the study that said the Arctic will experience explosive greening while the amount of ice in Antarctica increases  - both due to “global warming”.)

“On the other hand, if the climate follows the data, the north side of the Mediterranean should be ice bound and all Canadians and people in the upper US will be fighting for land in Mexico and we will have to turn Central Africa and the Amazon basin into farmland.

“Either way, it doesn’t sound good for Central Africa and the Amazon basin!”

- Tom O

If someone knows who created the above “Penguins in Venice” spoof please let me know, because I’d like to give them credit here.
