People on Norway’s coast have reported a strong smell of sulfur in the air this week, and experts say it’s coming from Iceland’s Bardarbunga volcano, 800 (1300 km) miles away.

Vibeke Thyness, at the Norwegian Medical Institute, says the sulfur gas is highly diluted and not at all dangerous to the public.
