At least 17 people have died in the cold weather since Saturday.
The Upper Midwest and Great Lakes may see one of the region’s longest-ever sub-freezing periods in November, while Buffalo, NY, could see six feet of snow.
In the Midwest and Northeast, things aren’t likely to warm up until this weekend; elsewhere, warmer temperatures should be on their way by Thursday.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, the freezing temperatures in Hawaii are only way up high on volcanoes.
