A mere 1 to 4 inches this time – but a much larger storm is on the way.
Already buried beneath record snowfall, many Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island communities can expect another 1 to 4 inches of new snow tomorrow into Friday morning, said National Weather Service Meteorologist Stephanie Dunten.
Forecasts call for a much larger storm on Sunday into Monday, but it’s too early to say how much snow that might bring, Dunten said.
“The snow is not going to be melting anytime soon,” Dunten warned. “We recommend homeowners scrape any snow off their roofs to avoid overloading, as we’ve already seen a few roofs collapsing.”
