Four to six inches of heavy, wet snow headed for Philadelphia, New York City, Hartford, Boston

Storm expected to dump several inches of snow on most of the Northeast, with one to two inches farther south.

New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Delaware, Washington, D.C., an area that is home to 45 million people, all are in the crosshairs for late-season snow.



New York City issued a winter travel advisory, warning that the city could get 4 to 6 inches through Saturday.

Note: Meteorologist Joe Bastardi warned about this storm last Saturday.
