Snow destroys high-mountain road in Chile

2 Apr 2015 – The Agua Negra border crossing between Argentina and Chile will be closed until April 30.

So said Secretary of Institutional Relations, Elena Pellatier, who noted that is because of high-mountain storms.

“While the San Juan side is ready, the snow has left practically destroyed the road side of Chile,” said Pelletier, who stressed that a lot of snow fell in the mountains during the last week of March.
