The two men have become the first to cross Georgian Bay on foot.

Wingham-native Zane Davies and Lion’s Head’s Scott Parent made the 25-mile (82-km) trek across the bay by foot and paddleboard earlier this month.

It took them three days to complete the journey, which Davies says was mostly trouble-free.

It’s believed the two men are the first to walk across the bay in modern history.
