Highway crews are searching for trapped vehicles and cleaning the way. The teams have already rescued some stranded vehicles.
24 Apr 2015 – A snowstorm forced closure of the road connecting Konya-Antalya and Akseki Seydişehir.
The Antalya – Konya road was also shut down due to snowstorm, while the Konya-Istanbul route is partially closed to traffic due to the snowfall.
In Akseki in the evening of the the previous day snowfall adversely affected transportation.
The temperature dropped below zero at night.
