Dismantling of American economy continues unabated.
“If a foreign nation was doing this to America, we would be at war with them.” – Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK)

The President described the unprecedented carbon dioxide limits as the “the single most important step” America has ever taken to fight climate change.
I think it’s one more step in his evil attempts to destroy the U.S. economy.
Opponents of his plan immediately announced they would sue the government to stop the rules from taking effect. West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey, speaking at a summit of Republican state attorneys general, said West Virginia would be among a group of states “launching an aggressive legal campaign.”
“We are confident that we will prevail,” said Morrisey. “Their legal foundation is very, very shaky.”
The final version of Obama’s plan imposes stricter carbon dioxide limits than previously expected, mandating a 32 percent cut by 2030 compared with 2005 levels, the White House said.
Many Republican-led states say their states simply won’t comply. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell vowed to use legislation to thwart the president’s plan.
The Obama administration estimated the emissions limits will cost $8.4 billion annually by 2030.
Though hopes had been high that natural gas could make up for the loss of coal-generated power, Obama’s final version aims to keep the share of natural gas at current levels.
Obama vowed in 2008 that he would cause electricity rates to skyrocket. Looks like he’s keeping his promise.
“So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.” — Barack Obama
