Snow to Linger in NE China

Forecasters warn that the heavy snow that has swept across many parts of northern China will continue in the northeast until at least Wednesday.

Inner Mongolia is expected snow and sleet in coming days, while parts of Heilongjiang and Jilin expect heavy snowfall.

Temperatures are expected to drop by as much as 10 degrees in certain parts of the south.
