Snowfall ranged from 6 to about 18 inches. The deepest Reno-area snow fell in Stead, Panther Valley and Cold Springs.
Temperatures are expected to dip down to the 20s (F) or lower.
Chains and snow tires are required on many Tahoe-area roads.
