MOUNTAIN SNOWS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH LATE THIS AFTERNOON…SIERRA MADRE RANGE-

WINTER STORM WARNING UNTIL 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON…

TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS…AN ADDITIONAL 3 TO 6 INCHES TODAY WILL BRING THE STORM TOTAL TO 3 TO 4 FEET. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE ON SOUTHWEST FACING SLOPES.

SOUTHWEST WINDS 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS AS HIGH AS 50 MPH POSSIBLE. NEAR WHITEOUT CONDITIONS POSSIBLE IN FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW.

IMPACTS…MAINLY TO TRAVEL AND RECREATION. MOUNTAIN ROADS WILL BECOME ICY AND SNOW PACKED AND LIKELY  IMPASSABLE.

VERYLOW VISIBILITIES AND COLD TEMPERATURES WILL BE DANGEROUS TO ANYONE CAUGHT OUTDOORS.
