Snowfall in excess of three meters (10 feet).
7 Jan 2016 – The Siir-Şırnak highway is opened again after a lapse of 9 days in which it was closed due to heavy snowfall.
Highway teams have been working in an uninterrupted operation to clean the snow in the hills a thickness of 2 meters. Because of the snowstorms many cars were abandoned on the road side.
The teams are working now to reopen the roads to Akkoyun, a Dogan village in the Pervari district, that were closed due to snow in excess of 3 meters.
