Although you may have heard that this was the second biggest snowstorm in New York City history, you may not be aware it also broke the city’s record for a single day.
Yes, the killer blizzard did dump 26.8 inches of snow on Central Park, which was the second-highest total since 1869.
But that total was for the entire storm.
Turns out that the 26.6 inches that fell on Saturday broke the city’s record for a single day.
