Winter storm warning in effect for:
Flin Flon Cranberry Portage and Grass River Prov. Park, Snow Lake and Herb Lake Landing, Leaf Rapids, Lynn Lake, Pukatawagan, Nelson House, South Indian Lake and Amisk Prov. Park, Split Lake and York Landing and Thompson Thicket Portage and Pikwitonei regions
30 to 50 cm (11.8″ to 19.7″) of heavy wet snow expected tonight through Thursday night.
The snow will continue through Wednesday and Thursday before tapering off Thursday night.
Strong northeasterly wind gusts to 80 km/h will also accompany the system and persisting through Thursday.

Snowfall warning in effect for:
Candle Lake Prov. Park and Narrow Hills Prov. Park, Hwy 165 between Hwys 2 and 914 including Pinehouse Lake, Lac la Ronge Prov. Park including La Ronge, Montreal Lake and Molanosa, Prince Albert Nat. Park, Cumberland House, Hanson Lake Road between Hwys 165 and 135, Hanson Lake Road east of Hwy 135 including Creighton, Hwy 135 including Pelican Narrows and Sandy Bay, Seabee Mine and Southend – Brabant Lake – Kinoosao regions
A long period of snowfall, with total amounts of 20 to 30 cm (7.9″ to 11.8″) is expected.
Heavy snow is expected to continue over portions of northeastern Saskatchewan until Thursday. Pelican Narrows region will see a further 5 to 10 cm (2.0″ to 3.9″) of snow overnight tonight. The snow will start in earnest in the La Ronge region and Southend on Wednesday. 10 to 20 cm (3.9″ to 7.9″) of snow is expected to fall in these areas of Saskatchewan on Wednesday with an additional 5 to 10 cm of snow overnight into Thursday morning. Conditions are expected to gradually improve on Thursday as the system weakens and moves further to the east.
Other snowfall warnings for central to southwestern parts of Saskatchewan for up to 15 cm (5.9″).
As well, a snowfall warning for southeastern Alberta for up to 15 cm and frost advisories for all of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island (on top of tropical cyclone advisories).
