Not just a day, but the entire month.
Starting with the record 23 cm of snow that fell on October 1st, Fort St. John had the coldest and one of the wettest months on record, says Environment Canada’s Ross MacDonald.
Over the 31 days, the average temperature at the North Peace Airport was -1.5 degrees Celsius, compared to the normal October average temperature of 3.6 degrees. That’s a drop of 5 degrees.
