“Record snows blanketed much of Central and Eastern Kentucky in the morning (12 Nov 13),” said meteorologist Chris Bailey on his Kentucky Weather blog
“It doesn’t take a whole lot to get a record snowfall at this time of year, but the records are records, and it’s impressive to break one,” said Chris.
“It has now snowed on two dates in Lexington this fall: October 24 and today. Both featured record snowfall for the respective dates. We picked up a trace on the 24th and nearly a half-inch this morning.”
