LJUBLJANA, FEB 4 – Frost in Slovenia has damaged 500,000 hectares of woodland, about 42% of the country’s woods, the country’s forest rangers said on Tuesday. Damages were reported for 3.5 million cubic metres of woods, totaling the same amount of trees cut in a year. More than half of treks crossing Slovenia’s woods were also damaged.
