The Logar-Gardiz highway was closed before traffic due to heavy snowfall on Sunday morning.
The provincial director of Public Works, Eng. Abdullah, said heavy snowfall and storm in Tira Kotal area has blocked traffic on the Logar-Gardiz highway.
He said maintenance officials were working in the highway to overcome the problem but storm and heavy snowfall hinder their activity.
Also, heavy snowfalls have blocked roads in three districts in Panjsher province, according to the provincial media office.
The source said the districts include Khinj, Abshaar, and Paryan.
