Record cold is “typical”? See video.

“It’s almost Easter and it feels like Christmas, actually, from Louisiana all the way to Maine,” says the NBC News announcer.

Low-temperature records broken in at least seven states:

  • Toledo, Ohio – 19F breaks previous record low of 20F.
  • Indianapolis, Indiana – 21 F shatters old record of 26F.
  • Memphis, Tennessee – 32F breaks old record of 37F.
  • Atlanta, Georgia – 32F breaks old record of 35F.
  • Charlotte, North Carolina – 29F easily breaks old record of 32F.
  • Jackson, Mississippi – 27F beats previous record low of 33F.
  • Knoxville, Tennessee – 29F surpasses old record low of 31F.
  • Buffalo, 20F breaks old record of 24F.
  • New York City – New record low of 29F bests previous record of 32F
  • And at 29F, even that hotbed of global warming rhetoric, Washington, D.C., shattered its previous record low for the day of 34F.

And yet, the announcer says “that’s typical April for you.”

C’mon. How stupid do you think we are?
