Turkey – Residents astonished by snow

White blanket covers Palandöken Mountains in early days of summer.
People who live in eastern Turkish city of Erzurum were astonished when they saw that snow covered the slopes of Palandöken Mountains in the first days of summer.

Palandöken, one of the most important mount ranges around the Erzurum and also very important ski resort of eastern Turkey, took heavy snowfall as many parts of the Turkey got into the influence of cold front coming from Black Sea.

Seeing the snow covered slopes residents of Erzurum couldn’t hide their amazement.
