The temperature dropped to -29.6° (-21.3F) this morning at the Winnipeg airport, while the Forks dropped to -23.8° (-10.8F).
Other notable cold spots in southern Manitoba were Dauphin (-30.7°) (-23.3F), Swan River (-31.8°) (-25.2F) and Berens River (-34°) (-29.2F), which was the coldest place in the province today.
Some records were broken today that go back to the mid 90s but Winnipeg is not one of them. The record low for November 26th is -32.2° (-26.0F) set in 1887.”
