More snow on the way for Cyprus

4 Jan 2015 – After being closed for 24 hours, all roads leading to snow-covered Troodos mountains re-opened around noon on Sun even though the police kept urging motorists to be extremely careful because of icy conditions.

Because of the heavy snowfall, the roads were opened only for cars with four-wheel drive or snow-chains.

Skiers and snow-boarders will be delighted to hear that weather forecasts have more snow on the way.

And on Wednesday, possible snow on the plains.
