The storm system that dumped heavy snow across the Sierra and Southern California mountains is set to strengthen, bringing heavy snow to the Colorado Rockies, says accuweather.com.
“Locations from Cheyenne, Wyoming, to Denver and Colorado Springs, Colorado, are in store for heavy snow.”
“Many areas could have over a foot of snow by the time the storm winds down on Monday night.”
The system will then move into the central United States, “where severe weather and a blizzard will unfold on Tuesday.”
