“We’ve seen 79 consecutive days of snow cover at Toronto Pearson Airport, and we’re going to blow past the record of 81 days this week,” says Weather Network meteorologist Doug Gillham.
“We’ve seen 79 consecutive days of snow cover at Toronto Pearson Airport, and we’re going to blow past the record of 81 days this week,” says Weather Network meteorologist Doug Gillham.
And it’s cold! “This is colder than we should be even in January,” says Gillham.
It’s colder than it should be across Canada, says Gillham. Temperatures are running 20 degrees below seasonal in the Prairies.
Lake effect snow is expected to continue for the next few days, with another system is the works later this week.
